		<description>Hi

greetings from Kerry, Ireland

This sounds familiar. We hear a scratching noise, which we think is in the attic. It is loud, and rhythmic (always in sets of 4 or 3). But there is no running around sounds and no droppings (that we can see). A pest control guy came out and said he thinks it is bats, as opposed to rats or mice. There is no sign of droppings or gnawing. He showed us a tiny hole where they migth be getting in. Does this sound familiar? Im still not sure it is bats. Extensive googling suggests they dont gnaw. So what is the noise? We live in Ireland, so don&#039;t get too many varieties of creatures.

Thanks for sharing your experience - glad to see it didn&#039;t affect your sense of humour and you quite rightly got the man to do the man stuff.
