Ooh, I like the photo album idea. Mostly because it would force me to finally put my photos INTO an album. I'm such a slacker on that stuff.

I have a colleague who, upon being informed that my "savings account" is called my "paris account", nearly exploded with joy. He thought I meant that I'd be moving there, not visiting. Bet I could get him to chip in.

We should have a Paris Photo night during which everyone who has been drags out their photo albums.

Great, great photos!

I can't wait to hear about your trip.

The ferris wheel was not there in May 2007. Does that make it new?

When are we going to do the fundraiser to get Kerri to Paris? (That rhymes if you say it in French.)

Not sure if the ferris wheel is new or not. It was pretty popular, even in the cold weather. It was at the far end of the park, away from the Louvre, where all of the streets connect in the rotary heading toward the Arc de Triomphe.

I didn't really know about the Water Lilies either. Apparently there are about 250 Water Lily paintings. Monet did a series of 8 of them that are displayed in 2 oval rooms at the Musee de l'Orangerie. They were huge. He donated them on his death and requested that they be displayed this way. It was really wonderful.
