It was pretty popular, even in the cold weather. It was at the far end of the park, away from the Louvre, where all of the streets connect in the rotary heading toward the Arc de Triomphe. Apparently there are about 250 Water Lily paintings. Monet did a series of 8 of them that are displayed in 2 oval rooms at the Musee de l'Orangerie. They were huge. He donated them on his death and requested that they be displayed this way. It was really wonderful. I didn’t really know about the Water Lilies either.
