Rita’s West Hartford – Yum!

Happy Day! We now have our very own Rita’s shop here in West Hartford. For those not familiar with their unique line of Ice, Custard, and Happiness, they have the most delicious soft-serve ice cream around. They also combine the custard and ice to form a variety of cool and creative treats.

I’m completely addicted to their custard and have traveled the region to sample their fare. It had previously only been available at a safe distance from our home, so it was more of a special treat than anything else. But now … a store so close … this could be trouble. If you buy 10, then you get 1 free. Kyle and I have already earned one free cone this summer, and this definitely increases the odds that we’ll earn another. Hopefully they don’t have Wi-Fi in the store…
