Below are recent pictures of two big development projects in Downtown Hartford.
The first is the steel structure of the Front Street District, across Columbus Boulevard from the Convention Center. It’s exciting to see the project underway after years of delays and other challenges.
The second is the Broadcast House being torn down to make room for the AI Technology Center on the corner of Columbus Boulevard and State Street. Demolition began last week and seems like it may take a few weeks – so there is still an opportunity to watch the heavy equipment go to work.
For those that work downtown, take a few minutes to visit the worksites and see the progress. It’s definitely worth the price of admission, and you’ll get to enjoy the beautiful fall weather.
