The background. Kyle and I hadn’t been on vacation for about 3 years. So late this fall I decided that we really needed to go away somewhere for a little while. Vacation is always tricky in real estate because, well, it’s kind of like you’re running a 24\/7 convenience store with one employee. And if the employee is out sick or away, the store is closed. And a closed store isn’t going to feed the employee’s family. Also I’m a little bit of a customer satisfaction and control freak, so closing the store isn’t really something I like to do. Ever.<\/p>\n

But no vacation eventually equals burnout, so what are you going to do? Apparently, go to Paris, France for 6 days, if you’re me. But also schedule it during a slow time of the year (the beginning of January), so there isn’t too much going on. Thankfully 2 lovely agents in my office were willing to assist my buyer and seller clients while I was away. And all of my fantastic clients were glad to hear that I was going on an adventurous vacation and happy with the agents that would be assisting them while I was gone. Phew.<\/p>\n

So we went to Paris for 6 days. And now we’re back. You didn’t even know we were away thanks to the amazing “Schedule Post Publish” feature for my blog. \ud83d\ude42 We literally took hundreds of pictures and here are some of my favorites from the trip…<\/p>\n
