{"id":3964,"date":"2010-02-03T08:19:07","date_gmt":"2010-02-03T13:19:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.amybergquist.com\/blog\/?p=3964"},"modified":"2010-02-03T08:19:07","modified_gmt":"2010-02-03T13:19:07","slug":"hartfords-one-city-one-plan-continues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amybergquist.com\/blog\/2010\/02\/03\/hartfords-one-city-one-plan-continues\/","title":{"rendered":"Hartford&#039;s One City, One Plan Continues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Discussion of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hartford.gov\/oneplan\/\">Hartford&#8217;s Plan of Conservation and Development<\/a> resumes this week with the first of four Community Listening Sessions organized by the City Planning &#038; Zoning Commission.<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.amybergquist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Development-in-Hartford.JPG\" alt=\"Hartford has many opportunities for development\" title=\"Hartford has many opportunities for development\" width=\"602\" height=\"366\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3965\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Since the first round of events, the City has been working to incorporate the community feedback into the overall plan.  A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hartford.gov\/oneplan\/#POCD_Chapters\">second draft is available<\/a>, and there is a summary of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hartford.gov\/oneplan\/Complete_List_Ideas.pdf\">Top 20 Individual Ideas<\/a> as voted by the attendees of the previous events.  After looking at the voting results, they have concluded that the most popular theme is making the City, and Downtown in particular, more pedestrian and bicycle friendly.
