It was exciting to see crews hard at work improving Downtown Hartford.<\/p>\n<p>Much of the structural work appears to be complete at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.frontstreetdistrict.com\/\">Front Street<\/a> project&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.amybergquist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Front-Street.JPG\" alt=\"Front Street in Hartford\" title=\"Front Street in Hartford\" width=\"616\" height=\"466\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3981\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Supports are in place for the pedestrian bridge that will connect the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctconventions.com\/\">Convention Center<\/a> to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctsciencecenter.org\/\">Science Center<\/a> and the rest of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.constitutionplaza.com\/home.html\">Constitution Plaza<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.amybergquist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Bridge.JPG\" alt=\"Pedestrian Bridge Between Convention Center and Science Center\" title=\"Pedestrian Bridge Between Convention Center and Science Center\" width=\"616\" height=\"466\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3982\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Broadcast House has been completely removed in preparation for the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aitechcenter.com\/\">AI Tech Center<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.amybergquist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/AI-Tech.JPG\" alt=\"Future Site of the AI Tech Center\" title=\"Future Site of the AI Tech Center\" width=\"616\" height=\"466\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3983\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After attending the MetroHartford Alliance Rising Star Breakfast this morning, I took a couple minutes to snap some pictures of the major construction projects around the Convention Center.
