They want to know why the houses we&#8217;re looking at are sad and why no new houses are coming on the market.  Much of what&#8217;s available has been on the market for many weeks.<\/p>\n<p>We are in the doldrums of summer.  People are away on vacation, many of the &#8220;fabulous&#8221; houses sold in the earlier spring and summer months, and sellers are now waiting until after Labor Day and school starts to list their homes.  That&#8217;s the advice I&#8217;m giving my future sellers and I know other agents are doing the same thing.<\/p>\n<p>The market is slow, for both buyers and sellers.  Give it a few more weeks and things will pick up.  They always do.<\/p>\n<p>Now, go to the beach and enjoy the few days we have left in August.
