The Buying Process

There are two phases to the buying process; finding the right home and making the purchase. Let us use our knowledge of the area, understanding of the transaction process and negotiating skill to make your purchase an enjoyable experience.

Finding the Right Home
At the beginning of the process, we start by using your goals and timeframe to create a search strategy.
1. Set goals & timeframe
2. Map out a strategy
3. Mortgage prequalification
4. Identifying candidates
5. Schedule showings
6. Evaluate options
7. Repeat steps 4 - 6 as needed

Buying the Home
Once you decide on a home, we begin the transaction, which starts with negotiating a price.
1. Negotiate with the seller, offer accepted
2. Initial deposit (typically $1,000)
3. Inspection contingency
4. Second deposit (typically 5% - 10% of purchase price)
5. Appraisal
6. Satisfaction of mortgage contingency
7. Final walkthrough
8. Closing
9. Move in!
