17 Vanderbilt Road, West Hartford

This is the perfect property for those who want the character and size of an older and charming West End home but also want everything that West Hartford has to offer.

17 Vanderbilt Road

A gracious full-width porch welcomes guests and is a wonderful place to relax and socialize with neighbors. Inside, there is a traditional center hall, front to back living room with fireplace and large formal dining room. The kitchen has granite counters, stainless steel appliances and a slider out to a covered deck overlooking the yard.

The second level includes three bedrooms, two full baths, an office and a bright enclosed sleeping porch. The third floor is a versatile suite with two rooms and a full bath that could be used as the master bedroom, or for au pair or in-law quarters.

There is a playroom with a half bath in the walk-out lower level. In addition to the oversized 2 car detached garage, there is also yard storage space under the deck. The back yard is fully fenced, and has lovely gardens and landscaping – a private oasis.

This home has an incredibly convenient location. Vanderbilt Park is a few houses away at the end of the quiet street, and features a playground. The bus stop is an easy walk, as are restaurants, shops with basic necessities and the elementary school.

17 Vanderbilt Road is offered at $417,500. If you’d like to see this home, please have your agent arrange a showing or call me at 860-655-2922 to schedule a visit. More details and a photo tour are available.

  1. Hi Mandy, not this week because of the Easter holiday and not sure about future weekends. If you’d like to see it, just email or text me. 🙂

  2. Hi, Ashley. The house does not have central air. It has lots of other great features though – an updated kitchen, nice outdoor space, the versatile 3rd floor suite, and a convenient location – and is a huge amount of space for the money. Maybe all that makes up for it? Call or write if you would like to take a tour…
