In the exciting sequel to yesterday’s post, today we have another food item littering the yard. Once again it has been carefully positioned in a precarious location.
The cookie is actually quite far from the trash can. It seems that our reputation as wasters has spread to the squirrels in the trees on the other side of our house too. I find this troubling – squirrels share information? Do the different squirrel colonies actively work together? I have always through of them as family units that have their own territories. Maybe I need to learn more about their society.
