Today, Wednesday October 2, 2019, is Energy Efficiency Day in Hartford. The City’s Sustainability Office is hosting an Eco Expo at City Hall from 4:00p to 7:00p so residents and businesses can learn about different ways to improve their property’s energy efficiency. Federal Tax Credit for Consumer Energy Efficiency

Another federal tax credit is about to expire, though this one isn’t getting nearly the amount of publicity as the home buyer tax credit. The credit for Consumer Energy Efficiency is an effort to reward homeowners who make energy-related improvements on their property.
