I’m their eyes and ears on the ground, monitoring the new listings, checking out properties in person, and asking about other opportunities. Tuesday is the traditional day for real estate office meetings and then Broker Tour. What exactly is Broker Tour? Well, it’s essentially an open house for real estate agents. When homes are newly listed they’ll typically have an open house so agents can get a preview look. If they have buyers interested in that type of home, they can give them more information. Broker Tour in the Hartford area traditionally happens on Tuesdays between 11:00am-2:00pm.
Another spring Sunday has passed, and with it another round of open houses. We have been hosting them regularly over the past month and have noticed that as soon as people get inside, they begin to have memory problems. Everyone that comes to our open houses is asked to sign-in. Our goal is to have an accurate count of the number of people that visited the property, and a way to follow up if needed.
